Online Banking Security

HCB is committed to protecting your personal information. Our Online Banking uses several different methods to protect your information. All information within our Online Banking uses the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol for transferring data. SSL is a cryptosystem that creates a secure environment for the information being transferred between your browser and HCB. All information transferred through Online Banking has a 128-bit encryption which is the highest level of encryption. HCB also requires that passwords have a combination of capital and lowercase letters, numbers and alpha-numeric characters. The platform also uses two-factor authentication. In addition to the security features put in place by HCB here are some tips on keeping your information secure.

  • Set Strong Passwords that are unique and hard to guess. Change passwords regularly and use different passwords for different accounts.
  • Don't use personal information for your user names or passwords like Birth Dates & SSN
  • Avoid using public computers to access your Online Banking.
  • Always use a passcode to lock your mobile device and always lock it when not in use. Never leave your mobile device unattended in a public place.
